In collaboration with Institut Français, Goethe Institut (China) and Pro Helvetia, TASML IRP is a new type of artist residence program that focuses on laboratory inspired artistic practice. The program benefits from the rich research culture of Tsinghua’s science and technology community. It is the first such AR program taking place in mainland China.
Led by EPFL in partnership with ZHdK, LMU, and Tsinghua University, the project joins the disciplines of Performing Arts, Media Arts, Architecture, Design, Science and Technology with the aim of creating mutual inspirations that lead to new trajectories for both artistic expression as well as technological experimentation and development.

Between July 22 - July 27 2011, TASML in collaboration with National Art Museum of China, Goethe Institut (China) presented three artist presentations at Ullens Center for Contemporary Art as public program of Translife: Media Art China 2011, International Triennial of Media Art.
Initiated and organized by TASML and designed by Ma Yansong, "Weather Tunnel" since its unavailing on July 26 2011, has been an attraction of the Translife exhibition at NAMOC. New York Times' review of Translife opens the article by introducing the "Weather Tunnel":
An interactive multi-sensory installation by Wang Yuyang (CN), MeatMedia (CN) and Jeffrey Huang (CH) is featured in "Weather Tunnel," a component of Translife: International Triennial of New Media Art, on view until July 17 at the National Art Museum of China.
"Brain Station" by Wu Jiehui, Shao Ding and neural engineer Zhang Dan is now on view at the National Art Musuem of China as part of Translife: International Triennial of New Media Art organized by the National Art Musuem of China. The work has received extensive press coverage in numerous print and online media.
